The cheapest GLP-1 online right now is compounded semaglutide at $149 a month from Strut Health, billed month to month. Semaglutide runs from about $149 to about $1,000 a month, depending on which product you buy and where. We price the all-in maintenance cost and check every program against its own published page every Monday.

Watch the word "starting." Most sites advertise the starter dose, not what you pay once you titrate up. Your real bill usually runs 30 to 60 percent higher at a full dose. We publish the full maintenance price for every program, free.

Cheapest overall: compounded

Compounded semaglutide is the floor. Strut Health runs $149 a month with no long contract. Mochi Health charges $178 a month and holds that flat at every dose, so your bill does not climb as you titrate. Compounded tirzepatide, the Zepbound and Mounjaro molecule, starts at $278 a month at Mochi. It uses the same active molecule as the brand but is mixed by a licensed pharmacy, not the manufacturer, and is not FDA-approved as a finished product.

Cheapest branded: the oral Wegovy pill

The cheapest FDA-approved brand is the oral Wegovy pill. It starts at $149 a month at the starter dose and runs $299 a month at the 9mg and 25mg maintenance doses, through NovoCare direct or a retail pharmacy. For people who will not use compounded medicine, it is the lowest-cost name-brand route.

Retail counters: Amazon, Sam's, Costco and GoodRx

At the pharmacy counter the same oral semaglutide lands between about $299 and $358 all-in. Amazon Pharmacy and Sam's Club run about $299 a month, Costco through Sesame about $358, and GoodRx about $338. Retail Ozempic without insurance is about $998 a month and Mounjaro about $1,069, which is why the channel you pick moves the price more than the drug does.

Cheapest with insurance: the $25 copay

If your commercial plan covers weight-loss GLP-1s, a manufacturer savings card can drop your copay to as low as $25 a month. The catch is coverage: many plans exclude the class outright, so check your formulary first.
