- 2024A stable cash band. Compounded semaglutide settles around $199 to $279 a month across the early telehealth programs.
- Feb 2025Shortage declared over. The FDA says the semaglutide shortage is resolved. That starts the clock on compounding limits.
- Apr to May 2025Compounding winds down. 503A pharmacy compounding restrictions take effect in April, 503B in May. The cheap compounded supply starts to narrow.
- Feb 2026A brief price floor. One program lists a $99 oral compounded pill. It is withdrawn within days under manufacturer legal pressure. It was never a stable market price.
- Jun 2026Where it landed. Surviving compounded programs settle around $178 to $209 a month, while branded Wegovy and Zepbound run past $1,000 in cash.
